O is for Old Man

I understand that O doesn't come after I in the alphabet, but I have decided to ring the changes and just attack the alphabet in a random fashion, depending on what takes my fancy from week to week! This is a paper cut image laid over a watercolour wash, and it is based on one of my favourite poems by Lewis Carroll from Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There. Like all good nonsense, it is actually beautifully symbolic. I love the interpretation about a secret mushroom hunter being interrogated by a policeman in the 19th century. Read it here! http://www.poetropical.co.uk/21.html
