S is for Strange and Dawes

Dawes is a humble otter, Strange is his pompous rat friend who insists on being pushed around in a wheelbarrow. These are two characters dreamed up by my friend Becky and I when we were bored at a festival and this week we will be revisiting the story on our travels around Germany.
